Mumu – Venue Photography Direction

At Merivale, I was tasked with creating a distinct photographic language tailored to each venue - ensuring every image reflected the soul of the space.

For Mumu, a vibrant South-East Asian eatery designed for late-night fun, the imagery needed to feel bold, energetic, and atmospheric. The goal was to capture the flavour, mood, and movement of the venue - from the neon-lit interiors to the expressive plating and lively service.

I led the creative direction of the shoot, developing a visual approach that felt immersive and editorial, while remaining true to the brand’s playful, high-energy spirit. The resulting imagery became a core component of Mumu’s marketing.
