Merivale – We Are All Heroes (Mardi Gras 2022)

For Mardi Gras 2022, Merivale celebrated the everyday heroes within the LGBTQIA+ community - the ones who uplift, support, and inspire change simply by being themselves.
Titled “We Are All Heroes,” the campaign invited a diverse group of community members to share their stories of strength, identity, and pride. Each was photographed in a custom-made look, coming together to form the colours of the Pride flag - a living symbol of unity and resilience.
The campaign roll-out included:
• Video content series
• Print and digital placements
• Social media content
• Digital ad campaign
Through bold visuals and authentic storytelling, the campaign honoured queer joy, history, and activism - reminding us that heroism comes in many forms, and every voice has power.
